Compliance/Risk Specialist

Randstad is seeking a high-caliber Compliance & Risk Specialist with a sharp eye for detail and a proven track record of excellence. About your new role

The Compliance/Risk Specialist will design and execute an insurance strategy initiative. This includes overseeing the insurance premium program and developing a comprehensive, department-wide strategy to manage property and combined liability programs.

What you will need to exceed

• Demonstrated experience in leading significant policy initiatives or managing complex programs in either the public or private sector is highly desirable.
• Experience developing and managing program governance frameworks, particularly within a state government or large-scale corporate environment.
• A proven track record in coordinating technical projects, including financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Extensive experience providing high-quality briefings and advice to senior executives and boards.
• Knowledge of insurance premium programs, property, and combined liability insurance is central to this role.
• Proficiency in research and "thought leadership" to identify emerging trends and risks that could impact the department's insurance profile.
• The ability to work alongside finance teams to evaluate and explore various premium funding options.
